I celebrated 31 years of life this past Monday. Time feels like it\u2019s going faster and faster. I swear it was not very long ago when I turned 21. I have learned many things along the way.\u00a0 In fact I will share 31 lessons that have impacted me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

    \r\n\t
  1. This moment is what\u2019s real and important, tomorrow is an idea.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  2. Personal responsibility is the key to being resilient.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  3. True strength is displayed through your character, not your muscles.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  4. The quality of your relationships is a reflection of the quality of your life.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  5. There\u2019s no shame in asking for help.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  6. If you only focus on what\u2019s wrong you will never see what\u2019s right.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  7. With every difficult situation ask yourself \u201cWhat can I do?\u201d<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  8. When you are lacking purpose, ask yourself \u201cWho is counting on me?\u201d<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  9. Get rid of all excuses, they only hold you back.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  10. Trying and failing feels a lot better in the end than not trying at all.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  11. The greatest gift you can give is your attention and appreciation.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  12. Live as if your days are numbered because they are.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  13. Always speak your goals and dreams out loud, manifesting works.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  14. You are the average of the 5 closest people you spend time with.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  15. Big people help others feel bigger.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  16. Make time for reflection and restoration.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  17. Words have the power to change worlds.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  18. Truest thing about you is what God says about you.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  19. Give selflessly what you hope to receive.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  20. How you make people feel is how people will remember you.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  21. External remedies and accomplishments will never solve internal problems.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  22. Accept what\u2019s out of your control in order to give more energy to what\u2019s in your control.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  23. Be quick to apologize & forgive then learn from it & forget.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  24. Time is never wasted when spent with those you love.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  25. Manage your emotions & impulses so they don\u2019t manage you.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  26. If you don\u2019t like where you are, then do something about it.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  27. Instead of criticizing and blaming others, look in the mirror.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  28. Meekness is not weakness.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  29. Read everyday.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  30. You can\u2019t influence someone who doesn\u2019t feel heard & understood.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  31. Your life is as rich as the lives you enrich.\u00a0
